Making Earth Cool joins forces with the Portland-based Nyback Archive to present a special screening featuring rare 16mm nature films. One of the most important private film collections in the U.S., the Nyback Archive spans over 120 years of cinema history and contains the original programs that curator and theater owner Dennis Nyback toured around the world with. DJ Plntdd spinning nature inspired tunes before the show. Come dressed in your favorite nature-inspired outfit and win a prize!

With everything from rare musical performances to international animation, the Nyback collection is a true cultural time capsule.
ON STAGE:
Plntdd (DJ) – Shawn Creeden (they/them, b. 1981, USA) is a queer, transdisciplinary artist based in unceded Cowlitz territory in what is now known as Portland, OR. They are a musician, DJ, and visual artist with over a quarter century of dedication to a wide-ranging, intuitive creative practice and a life-long devotion to our precious Earth and all our other-than-human relations.
