Earth Day 2027

Saturday, April 17

Volunteer! 
Portland’s cornerstone celebration of our home planet will be on 
Saturday, April 17th, 2027, 
11am-4pm 
at Sunnyside Environmental School.

Join Making Earth Cool, Sunnyside Environmental School, SOLVE, and others for a vibrant and impactful day beginning at  Sunnyside Environmental School with music, speakers, tabling, action/activity stations (this could be you!), art making, and a costume competition! 

Then we parade together as a colorful procession winding through the Sunnyside neighborhood, featuring the 350PDX GIANT puppets, marching bands, and singing!

We will round out the day with a dance party and litter pick-up hosted by SOLVE in the neighborhood!

🌿 Earth Day arrives just once a year, serving as a poignant reminder that we are mere specks within the grandeur of the greatest masterpiece ever created. Despite our smallness, Earth generously provides us with all we need and gifts us with beautiful sights, smells, tastes, and experiences to cherish. It's only fitting that we pay tribute to her magnificence.

Come celebrate our Mother Earth! Cheer and bow to her radical abundance, her spectacular, everyday greenery, breezes, sunshine, rain, and bird songs. Bask in her divine glory and give thanks for belonging here. 🌍
